Ocular Fornication - EP

This is a studio project featuring Bond (Morkret, Diascorium) and Wellsy (Kastrated, Reth, Morkret) from a few years ago. This is the first time (to my knowledge) that these songs have ever been made available to download, so, get them whilst they're new. Technical death metal for your ears, and there are a couple of riffs that have been 'taken back' for Diascorium purposes.

Fans of Gorgasm, Visceral Bleeding, Viral Load, Putrid Pile, Insidious Decrepancy and similar should get this.

so, to complete the trio of phil berridge shot videos, here is the one of my last band, Reth, that we shot a couple of years back in the subculture and in various parts of leeds, hope you enjoy the banana, the owl, the tiny drumkit, the thrusting and, oh yeah, the technical grindcore pop hit (sort of) stomper that is 'shibboleths'...

Here we have a great friend of mine, Matthew (Jim) Bentley with his acoustic, folk, solo guitar songs. Included in this post are 3 recordings. 'Self titled' album from 2006, 'Time' album from 2008, and then 'Re-think' EP from 2009, which is a re-recording of four tracks from the self titled release. If you like your music downbeat, thoughtful, stripped down, folky or acoustic, bluesy and quiet, then you should definitely give these a listen.

All three are just the songs in no particular order, that's how I got them when I downloaded them.

Reth - Precursors To Extinction

Here is what turned out to be the final RETH cd, 'Precursors to Extinction'. Within it is a huge mix of death, grind, technical, doom, ambient and more. This was recorded late 2007, originally self released at the start of 2008, picked up by Anticulture Records mid 2008, and now being made available for free to the world February 2009.

At time of posting it's had over a thousand downloads, and hopefully there'll be plenty more upon its reposting.







Comes complete with all the artwork at high resolution also, in case you want to burn a disc and print it all out.

This is well rough around the edges, and as it's from about 5 different recordings the sound fluctuates a bit, but is still a pretty good representation of the band's early years.
