We're proud to announce our first gig of 2011, and it's set to be another belter with four of the UK's best up and comers.

LATITUDES burst on to the scene last year with their incredible album 'Agonist' which got rave reviews across the board and are set to become even more of a force with the potential addition of a full time vocalist. For fans of Neurosis / Hydrahead / Cult of Luna / Cavity.

HAMMERS from Manchester are another band rapidly making a name for themselves with a constant hard work ethic and a few quality releases and splits. A spot on mix of fast and slow, if you like His Hero is Gone you'll be well into this.

DIET PILLS play excellent slow horrible sludgy stuff in the vein of Eyehategod, Corrupted, Noothgrush and all that good stuff. Absolutely quality band.

MORE THAN A JOKE open proceedings with a nice bit of fast noisy discordant hardcore. Fans of Graf Orlock, Some Girls, Ed Gein etc will be highly entertained.

Okay, so I may be a bit biased, but this is the best Lucifer Rising bill so far!! Diascorium are well chuffed to have been asked to play this one, and LAST DAYS OF HUMANITY!!!!!! in the UK!!! oh, yes! this will be messy.

Gig:- 'Lucifer Rising' - Leeds - August 19th

Lucifer Rising is a new-ish night in Leeds, at the Nation Of Shopkeepers venue. It's usually free entry, or cheap if there's bigger bands on. They've done two so far, I went to the first one, which had Magpyes, Khunnt and The Afternoon Gentlemen on, and played all manner of grimnity and grooves in between and afterwards. I'll more than likely be off to the one above as well, quality line up. Get listening to the bands you lazy sods! ;-)
