slowly this release is gaining legendary status, and quite rightly. the record that (pretty much) started the whole german metalcore thing, that spawned morser, systral and the like. ultra slayer-ified riffs, filthied up and topped with sick vocals and some quality samples.

Get them both! If you like your crust, grind, fast hardcore, atmospheric stuff, riffs in general, then don't miss Catharsis. One of my all time favourite bands of any style, and I feel proud to have played with them down in London a long time ago in my time in Canvas.

Catharsis are vastly overlooked, fast thrashy hardcore in basics, but very much more intelligent than most, and with all the best riffs.
