So, here is Mucofloris's second EP, and what an absolute stomper it is. 18 more minutes of awesome Southern England technical, grinding, metallic, hardcore-ing awesomeness, with oddball and doomy bits thrown in for good measure.

Dataclast - Cubical warfare - 9.99 demo

Digital grinders will get their kicks from this. Very strange but well worth a listen. Quite disturbing in places. 22 minutes, 13 songs, worth a quick viewing if you like it with fast beats, noisy riffs and twisted vocals.

Foetal Juice are a North West England based band, who have been entertaining us with plenty of high energy, crusting, grinding, old school battering, thrashing gory (sorry, no -ing on the end of that one) metal on the stage for a little while now. Cock and Ball Torture - Sadochismo

slamming gore grind from the kings. cock and ball torture at obscene extreme a few years back was probably the best thing i've ever seen, band playing live wise. it absolutely blasted it down with rain the entire set, started when they started, got heavier, then heavier, then to the point where we could actually hardly see anything, then it got heavier again!!! and then stopped when they finished. utter surrealism in a weather jar. normally i cry when it rains at festivals, but this was just too perfect.

this album is ace!

Birdflesh - Night of the Ultimate Mosh

top class riffy grindcore from sweden's birdflesh here. they've done some ace records, some not quite as ace but still alright recordings, but this is the best one for me. not just tight but funny as well, with sections that will stick in your head for days!

shikari - discography 1999-2003

i saw shikari whilst touring europe with narcosis a couple of times, they were blinding. get this discography if you like things discordant, fast, harsh, weird, screamy, shrieky.

nasum - inhale exhale

loads of people love nasum. it's all very much a shame what happened to the guy from these, and they are all sound folk (i played a gig with them in leeds a few years back whilst in narcosis), but, i think this is far and away their best album. ultra catchy crusting, grinding, riffing metal.

umlaut - totalfuckingdiscography

members of catharsis playing faster, more straight forward hardcore stuff, but still ace.

systral - fever

german, mosh, grind, riffs. that good enough for you? if not, then get this just to hear an absolutely inspired cover of 'confide in me' by kylie minogue!

radioskugga - 2 albums

brilliant band who are a bit blackened crust fastness, very mint, especially 'en estetisk...', highly unknown, so put that wrong right! can't even find any decent sized images to post up, not even from their own sites!
