LUKE circuit bends dolls and games and speak n spells and keyboards and toys and alien figures and makes them make noises they shouldn't, couldn't, wouldn't make ordinarily.

PAUL plays bass, has done many bands and projects in past years, some you may even know, he plays death and black and grind and tech and doom and sludge and prog and horror and hate and misanthropy and harsh discordance.

Together they make SLOTH HAMMER. They improvise and jam and scare and enthrall and hypnotise and harm and stab and hack and bash and crash and crunch and stick things in your eyes and hit you with planks of wood and mash you into the stinking horrible mush that you deserve to be.

JOE is bass man for Wiht, and previously Solitary Mass. He makes unnerving, minimal drone musics for those who enjoy their Sunn o))) and Nulll Records release. This is definitely not party music, but for those of you who know how to enjoy ambient bass dronings, then maybe you will have the best time ever with this. Drvonesound, or, as Luke Sloth has coined him, Dr. Vone Sound, will bring the calm into your minds, whilst still making you feel uneasy about the surroundings.






This split features 2 tracks from each project, amounting to 35 minutes of sounds, music, weirdness and unsettling waveforms. Be prepared for harrowing samples and vicious feedback amongst the bass and rhythmical happenings of Sloth Hammer, and negative feelings with atmospheric calm during Drvonesound.

Esoteric - Subconscious_Dissolution_Into_The_Continuum

THIS is the beastiest doom band of them all. No argument. I don't even care if 'beastiest' is a word or not, I'm using it! It can't possibly get heavier than these and remain coherent and still atmospheric. Absolutely crushing stuff here, the first song is more oppressive and more overwhelming than most band's entire discographies, and just keeps on crushing and battering and overpowering, even once it has you in submission, it doesn't care. It just keeps on going.

Here we have some Brum noisies, just a drum and bass ensemble, and there are two EPs uploaded in this post. Get them both checked out. 'Eternal sunshine' is an older one, and a more noisy affair with some interesting ideas from a band finding their sound I think, whereas the self titled EP is a lot more structured, riffy, confident sounding, with sludgier elements and having more coherence. If you are into the Lightning Bolt sort of sound realm then give these some of your time and see what you think.

these two have done a number of collaborations, and megatone wins for me. this put my brain back onto a different state of consciousness the first time i listened to it. let it do the same to you.

boris are awesome, and this is them at their fuzzed out doomy sludgy best, and the frog has got breasts!

This should have been posted up ages ago. Very difficult to find four track EP that came out around the same time as Isis's only really good record 'The Mosquito Control' EP and it was better than them even then. They also did a quality album which I'll upload shortly too, but, if you're into your old Isis, Cult Of Luna, Neurosis and all that jazz, then get on this immediately. More akin to bands like Abandon, but good known reference points I guess.

Absolutely pummelingly harsh soundscapes, BIIIIIIIG riffs (bigger than most of the bands who are in that vein of whatever-post-bullshit-term-ism it is you want to brand it), and utterly disturbing vocals. I've put doom and sludge in the tags because I think fans of those styles will dig this the most.

so, you've probably all read the interviews with agoraphobic nosebleed now they have a girl singer and sound more like a metal band than grind (although i still like their latest stuff, i can see why a lot don't), well, here is the doom sludge band she originated in, and if you like anything slow, then you NEED this. absolutely HUGE!

it's shellac! and this is their best one (care to discuss?!), unsettling grooves, weird riffs, intelligent, stark and uncompromising stuff. very difficult to tag, so don't shout at me because it's not totally on the ball.

stoner sludge riff grooves with one added extra BOOMS of awesomeness. folks may know of torche, this is pre-torche, and, well, floor are better!

Absolutely fantastic atmospheric, riffy, ambient, instrumental type gubbins that just nails it all pretty much spot on.

They're (well, HE!) is giving the music away for free, so thought I'd get it reposted and hopefully help spread the word.

It's free, Cloudkicker say you can have it for free as well, so get these amazing releases, guilt free. 'Portmanteau' especially has made today that bit more bearable, although having said that 'The Discovery', for being the heaviest of the four is continuing today's recovery nicely.
